This is a 1/2 day course and has been designed for all employees working in different types of environments to help raise their awareness of health and safety in the workplace. This could be used for a new starter course or as a basic initial health and safety training for staff.
This regulated and nationally recognised qualification provides Learners with a basic introduction to health and safety in the workplace, including the role that everyone plays in maintaining a safe working environment.
Intended Audience
The QA Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace (RQF) has been designed for all employees working in different types of environments to help raise their awareness of health and safety in the workplace.
During this half-day course, Learners will develop a basic knowledge of health and safety issues such as hazards and risks in the workplace, workplace conditions that can affect health and safety, and the requirements for workplace procedures.
