The Blue Card
The Energy and Utility Skills Register (EUSR)
For groups of four or more people an ‘in-house’ course can be delivered at your own premises.
Half Day Course
The course can be run over 3-4 hours.
The course is divided into eight modules, before which each candidate will be required to complete a simple health-screening questionnaire, declaring that they are free of waterborne diseases. The eight modules are:
- The Importance of Water
Water is Food
Water as a Carrier of Disease
Contamination: Potential & consequences Preventing Contamination: Your Role Disinfection
Ensuring Quality: Sampling & Audit
Following delivery of the course, each candidate will sit a 25 question multiple-choice test paper in exam conditions. The pass mark is 22 out of 25. Successful delegates will be issued with a Cover Note, valid for 45 days, pending the issue of their National Water Hygiene card from EUSR. Once attained, the National Water Hygiene card is valid for 3 years.

For in-house / on site training we charge on a per person basis, minimum charge is 4 candidates at £125+VAT per person. Unlike some this also includes the EUSR registration fees.
*We do charge travel costs at the HMRC prevailing rate of 45p per mile.
